加拿大渥太華大學推出無接觸式電梯應用程序

加拿大渥太華的卡爾頓大學近日宣布，其已經在帕特森音樂廳（Paterson Hall）采用了無接觸式電梯技術。該建筑是一座中層建筑，設有哲學和歷史系。而該試點項目始于2018年初，乘客能夠通過智能手機呼叫電梯。該大學的初衷為所有人提供無障礙獲取服務，但無接觸式電梯應用程序在新冠肺炎疫情流行期間還多了一層身份，是“在樓宇內移動的安全衛生的方法”。

OTTAWA UNIVERSITY LAUNCHES TOUCHLESS ELEVATOR APP

Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, has implemented touchless elevator technology at Paterson Hall, a midrise building that houses departments including philosophy and history, the university recently announced. Enabling passengers to call an elevator from their smartphones, the pilot project originated in early 2018. While Carleton's ultimate goal is to provide accessibility to all, the touchless solution also is a "sanitary way to move around buildings" in the COVID-19 era.
