馬來西亞吉隆坡一名男子墜落電梯井道致死

據報道，在馬來西亞吉隆坡蕉賴區，一名50歲左右的男子從電梯井道墜落身亡，目前仍未能確定其墜落高度。在9月2日清晨，警方接到某公共住房建筑人員的報警，到場時發現該名男子躺在電梯轎廂頂部，面朝下，已經離世。該名男子顯然是當地的居民。警長稱該建筑的電梯維修服務公司曾收到過關于電梯停駛的投訴。目前該男子已被送到當地醫院進行尸檢。

ELEVATOR SHAFT FALL FATAL FOR MAN IN KUALA LUMPUR

A fall from an undetermined height down an elevator shaft in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, was fatal for a 50-year-old man, The Star reports. Police responded to a public-housing complex in the early morning hours of September 2 and found the man — apparently a resident — deceased, face down on top of a lift car. The police chief said the complex’s elevator-maintenance provider had received complaints of an elevator not working. The man’s remains were transported to a local hospital for an autopsy.
